The Influencers by Elias D’Sastre

We all know that Jokers can stand in for any card, but few are aware of their power to influence other cards to become the desired ones.

An original three-phase routine created and designed by Elías D’Sastre.

Effect:
You show a (regular) deck of cards on both sides, it even can be shuffled. A card is chosen, signed and lost in the deck. You then take two Jokers out of the deck and tell these Jokers can change a playing card into any playing card you want. So you now spread the deck face down and ask a spectator to take any card and take it out of the spread that he thinks may be the. let’s say five of hearts. The card is put between the two Jokers and you ask the Jokers to change the card into the five of hearts. When shown it indeed transforms into the five of hearts…or did the spectator really choose the five of hearts? It can be repeated with another card, and even a third. Then you ask for another card, show it is a totally different card (say, two of hearts) and put it between the Jokers and ask it to change into a ace of clubs. When removed it really has transformed into the ace of clubs!

Then you put the card back between the Jokers but don’t give the Jokers any information, when spread the ace now is blank – because the Jokers did not get any information. Now you put the blank card back between the Jokers and ask for the first time the name of the chosen card. Now take the blank card from between the Jokers and that has now changed to the chosen and signed card!
