Self-Working Routine Project By Miku W
This project is a collection of self-working card routines. All three effects require no sleight of hand, yet still create strong and deceptively simple miracles.
■ The Miracle Cut:
A spectator-driven miracle. The spectator cuts the deck and remembers a card. The magician places two Jokers face up into the deck, then lets the spectator continue cutting freely. With every cut, the Jokers trap fewer and fewer cards until only one card remains between them. That final trapped card ultimately leads to the spectator’s selection. As a kicker, during the cutting procedure the deck is separated into four piles, and the four revealed cards turn out to be the four Aces.
■ Thinking Positioning ACAAN:
A completely sleightless ACAAN routine. The spectator freely names a number, cuts off a packet, and remembers the card at the matching position. The magician never knows the selected card, yet in the end the card still appears exactly at the named number.
■ 15 & 47 Sandwich:
The magician claims the numbers 15 and 47 will locate the spectator’s card. The spectator freely cuts and selects a card. The magician turns over the 15th and 47th cards in the deck, then deals alternately left and right. In the end, the single card sandwiched between the 15th and 47th cards is exactly the spectator’s selection. As an extra climax, the dealing process also separates the deck into three matching value piles.
